MORAY FIRTH AUDIO has been running since around 1999. Moray Firth Audio took care of the Audio and Lighting hire side, with Outdoor Staging, Sound and Lighting.
They use the same world class Turbosound System and monitors, with a X32 which is 32 Channels of Digital control for Bands and Acts. They use Sennheiser Radio Mics along with Shure, AKG, EV and Neumann Mics.
The system can be doubled up to Record bands at their chosen location using state of the art PC systems
Sound Systems
We use Turbosound Systems for most of our Front of House sound. In more intimate locations we can use our Bose system
Lighting
We use a mixture of the new COB LED Par Cans and Moving Heads all DMX controlled
Special Effects
Our Special Effects Department has a range of Effects...
Smoke, Haze or Low Fog Hire - Smoke and Haze is used to enhance your lighting. Without this it can be difficult to see the lighting display apart from what is projected on wall and ceilings etc. But smoke can be used as an effect, we you cover the crowd in a plume of Smoke. Or plain Hazing where this is used as a Lighting effect to enhance the lighting. This really is a must when using lighting.
Low Fog Hire - A new concept in Smoke where like CO2 the fog lies low on the floor, the new design of Smoke machines can make low lying fog , giving the effect of walking on Clouds. A must for Weddings and Birthday Parties.
Laser Hire- Our new high powered Laser which can give spectacular effects in most locations indoors and outdoors. Not only providing shapes but also text, images, graphics and logos. (Not all locations can accommodate laser because of height restrictions, but call us to discuss)
The effect is spectacular, and can add a touch of real class and splendour to any event.
Confetti Canon Hire - A striking effect for Weddings, Parties and Dance Events.
We have 2 different kinds of Confetti Canons. The first is smaller and air driven, so the effect is a soft plume of confetti into the air. This would be regarded as a short throw canon for smaller venues, the ejection distance is around 3 - 4 meters.
Our Second canons are detonated cartridges, which give you a way bigger throw, up to 15 meters, designed for much larger venues
